Optimizing International Strategy Using Real-Time Data

Abstract

Building a campus with international students from diverse backgrounds provides an enriching experience for all students and staff, as well as helping to protect recruitment efforts against political and economic ‘shocks’ by spreading risk. In this session,  Hotcourses will highlight some factors which are crucial for making key decisions in an institution’s international recruitment strategy. Which markets are best suited for an institution to recruit from? Who is studying what and where? It will examine data at a macro, global level before drilling down to more granular detail to give practical examples of how institutions apply these insights to shape their own international strategies. This is an impartial perspective on how to make the best use of various data sources available, from within our region and beyond, to inform strategic marketing decisions.
