The Development and Challenges of Higher Education in China


With the gross enrollment rate of higher education in China having increased by 12.7% since 2012, China's higher education has entered a new era of development. In light of China's great achievement in recent years, the regional report will give a detailed account of the latest developments in higher education, the background of China's "Double First-Class" (world-class universities and first-class disciplines)construction, and the situation of the modern higher education system with Chinese characteristics.
